PRODUCT TESTING
Routine Test and Factory Acceptance Test, i.e. Mechanical Tensile Test, Mechanical Slip Test, Visual Inspection, Dimensional Verification and Galvanising Coating Thickness for hardware fittings components and lattice steel structures members are conducted at our in-house facilities. The testing procedures are in accordance with Standards such as BSI and IEC.
The following testing equipments are available at our factory:
- Universal Hydraulic Vertical Testing Machine (1000kN capacity)
- Horizontal Testing Machine (1000kN capacity, 12m bed length, clear width 1m)
- Hardness Testing Machine
- Magnetic Particle Test Machine (Non-Destructive Testing)
- Elcometer for measuring galvanizing coating thickness
- Micro-ohm meter for testing electrical resistance across conductor accessories
- Heat Cycle Testing machine
In order to ensure that our products conform to desired specification and key performance criteria are met, IACEM has a rigorous testing regimen built into its Quality System.
Tests and checks are carried out at critical stages in the manufacturing product such as:
- Type (Design) Tests of new products to ensure required performance characteristics are met
- Qualification of vendors
- Incoming material checks
- In-process QA/QC checks
- Routine and Sample testing based on recognized standards for every batch of products manufactured.
We also possess the necessary equipment to undertake required in-process tests as well as routine and sample tests so that we can ensure that only quality products reach our customers. Our in house test equipment includes:
- Horizontal Testing Machine - 12m bed length
- Vertical Testing Machine 100T load
- MPI Scanner for identification of subsurface cracks in metals
- Vernier caliper for physical measurement of parts.
- Elcometer for measuring galvanizing coating thickness Micro-ohm meter for the test resistance across conductor accessories Heat cycle test arrangement.
Our designs are validated through type tests carried out at accredited international laboratories such as:
- CESI (Italy)
- KEMA (Holland)
- Kinetrics (Canada)
- Bazet (France)
- ZKU (Czech Republic)
- NGK Laboratory (Japan)
- Richardson and Crudass (India) for towers
- Kalpataru Test Bed, India for towers.
